Joining The Falcon Peak Team!

Due to the unpredictable nature of providing services in emergency incidents, the need for employees is sporadic and uncertain.  We maintain a list of qualified individuals that can be called on for emergency situations as needed.  We are always looking for individuals able to accomodate one or more of these types of situations:

Initial Dispatch

You could be ready at a moment’s notice, but could only spend a day or two on incident.

Operations

You need some time to make arrangements, but could be on incident for up to 14 days at a time.

Relief

You need some advance warning, but could be on incident for two or three days at a time.

Technicians are called on for emergency incidents throughout the United States (primarily the Western states).  These emergency situations come at a moment’s notice is short.  There is no guarantee of how long, or if, you will be called to an incident.  You are not considered an employee until you are called on your first incident.  From that point, you are considered a seasonal, temporary employee.  While on incident you may be called on to work up to 14 days in a row without a day off.  If you work the full 14 days, you will be required to take at least 2 days off before being able to return to the incident, if that is the work plan.

When you have an accepted assignment, Falcon Peak will cover your expenses getting to and from the incident.  This includes rental cars, mileage reimbursement, flights, and hotels as necessary and set out in your incident travel plan.   This plan will be covered in your assignment details.  The contents of the incident travel plans depend on your location and proximity to the incident.  If not on an incident there is no expectation of wages to be earned.
